  1. Please take note of the USTET schedules and their corresponding deadlines for the payment of the non-refundable application fee at any Metrobank branch and submission of documents.
  2. Payment for the USTET will only be accepted at Metrobank branches. Metrobank payment for online application applies only to Filipino applicants studying in the Philippines. Application fees of applicants for Senior High School/College belonging to the TOP 5 of their batch (based on their Grade 9 academic standing for Senior High School applicants or Grade 11 academic standing for College applicants) may be waived upon submitting the certification from the high school principal indicating their academic standing. This applies only to candidates coming from the public schools in the Philippines.
  3. The following are grounds for forfeiture of the enrolment slot or for debarment in the succeeding term if discovered in the current term:
    4.1. Misrepresentation of information entered in the Application and Grades Form/Information Survey
    4.2 Misrepresentation during the examinations
    4.3 Any violation of the instructions given; and
    4.4 Other acts not in conformity with the University's policy.
  4. Submitted documents become property of the UST Office for Admissions (OFAD).
  5. Please make sure that the Activity Log in your Applicant Admission Account indicates that UST OFAD has received your documents.

  6. USTET results for Senior High School and College will be released online on January 28, 2018 at              myuste.ust.edu.ph:8888/admission/results.jsp. USTET results for Junior High School will be released online on March 15, 2018 at myuste.ust.edu.ph:8888/admission/results.jsp.
  7. Applicants are advised to visit the OFAD website (ofad.ust.edu.ph) and Activity Log every Friday for any announcement.

The Education High School, distinct and independent from the UST Junior High School, serves as a laboratory junior high school for the training and formation of future Catholic teachers. It also seeks to extend opportunities to junior high school students who belong to financially challenged families with minimal fees charged upon them.

The Education High School admits student who:

· possesses good moral character;

. passed the entrance examination and interview;

 2. If the requirements submitted by the applicant meet the standard of the Education High School (EHS), applicant will be recommended for the Entrance Exam.

3. If the applicant passes the entrance exam, he/she will be advised to report for interview.

4. Applicant must pass the interview to qualify for admission and enrolment at the EHS.

5. The list of qualified applicants for enrolment and waiting list will be posted at the ground floor of the Albertus Magnus Building. Those who are in the wait list must personally see the Principal for proper advice.

        REQUIREMENTS for 7TH GRADE (SY 2017-2018):

       1. Original and clear photocopy of the following:

  • Second Grading Period of the applicant’s Grade 6 Report Card (Form 138). The applicant should have a general average of at least 85% for the Second Grading Period;
  • Baptismal Certificate;
  • Income Tax Return (ITR) 2016 or 2017 of both parents. Combined annual income should not exceed Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 450, 000.00);
  • If OFW, copy of contract from present employer.
  1. Original copy of the following:
  • Certification of Good Moral Character coming from the School Principal/Guidance Counselor;
  • Notarized Certification of Breakdown of Income coming from employer.
  1. Two pieces 2”x2” recent identical pictures (white background) with applicant’s name written at the back.
  2. Application fee of Six Hundred Pesos only (Php 600. 00).

       NOTE:

  1. Applicant should not have siblings currently enrolled in Education High School.
  2. Applicants who already applied at the UST-Junior High School can no longer apply at the Education High School.

How do I apply for the USTET for A.Y. 2018-2019?

Please read and follow the instructions indicated in this website: http://onlineapplication.ust.edu.ph.

 

Can I ask for my reference number?

Your reference number is automatically sent to your email address after the initial registration in the online application. In case you were not able to receive the message, kindly email your complete name, address and birthday via ofad@ust.edu.ph to get a copy of the reference number.

 

What will I do if there is incorrect or change in the information in my online application?

  • Name, Gender, Birthday, Permanent Mailing Address, and Contact Information

Write a request letter to OFAD requesting for change in the information encoded. This letter should be submitted together with the complete requirements.

  • Citizenship

Write a request letter to OFAD requesting for change in the information encoded. This letter should be submitted before the submission of documents.

This is subject for deletion of record and so, the applicant will have to register again after the OFAD has deleted the previous record.

  • Strand or Program

Write a letter to OFAD requesting for change in Strand for Senior High School or Program for College. This letter should be submitted together with the complete requirements.

  • Testing Center

Write a request letter to OFAD requesting for a change in testing center. This letter should be submitted together with the complete requirements.

 

What if my school is not listed?

Email your school ID or card reflecting the complete name and address of your school via ofad@ust.edu.ph.

 

Can I apply for a program not related in my Senior High School Strand?

Applicants may apply in any college program offered in the university.

 

I graduated from the old curriculum of high school. Can I apply for college?

Yes, provided that you have secured clearance from the UST Office of the Registrar before paying the application fee.

 

I am an applicant for College. What grades do I need to ask from my Senior High School?

Average of all interrelated Grade 11 subjects for English, Math and Science taken during the first and second semesters / terms.

 

What if I do not have any grade/s in one or more of the subjects required during my Grade 11?

For those who do not have grades in the USTET required subjects in Grade 11, please attach a certified true copy of Form 137 reflecting the grades from Grade 7 to 10.

 

Where can I pay my application fee?

Applicants who will be taking the USTET in the Philippines should pay their application fees at any Metrobank branch.

 

How much is the fee for application?

Application fees are as follows:

How can I submit my requirements?

You may submit the documents to the OFAD personally. The OFAD is located at the 1st floor of the UST Tan Yan Kee Student Center. For your convenience, you are highly encouraged to send the documents through any courier service (e.g. UPS, FedEx, DHL, 2go, LBC, etc.)

Examinees for the Middle East testing centers are required to upload their requirements at the Activity Log of their online application.

 

Can I choose for my exam schedule?

Kindly refer to the General Guidelines of the deadline of payment and submission of documents. We will be designating the nearest testing date available upon submission of the complete requirements.

 

Can I choose the time of my USTET?

No. The OFAD will be giving the exam time available. Check your test permit five working days after submission of the complete requirements in OFAD.

 

What will I do if I lost my Metrobank payment slip?

You may request for a second copy of the payment slip from Metrobank. In case it is not retrieved, you must submit a notarized affidavit of loss.

 

I am studying abroad and cannot take the USTET on the schedules given. May I request for a special exam schedule?

Please refer to our international testing centers nearest you. If we do not have a testing center in your country, you may send us a request letter for a special exam schedule. This schedule should be between September 24 and December 3, 2017.

 

Can I submit my SAT/GRE results in lieu of the USTET?

Only foreigners studying or have studied abroad may submit their Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) results for evaluation in lieu of the USTET.

Submission of the SAT/GRE does not mean automatic admission.

 

What is the approximate tuition fee?

  • Junior High School

The tuition fee is approximately PhP 100,000 per year.

  • Education High School

The tuition fee is approximately PhP 30,000 per year.

  • Senior High School

The tuition fee is approximately PhP 55,000 per semester or Php 110,000 per year.

The tuition fee ranges from PhP 50,000 to 60,000 per semester.

 

When do I apply for scholarships?

​Kindly inquire from the Office for Student Affairs after the results of the USTET are released.

 

For batch application, how can we pay the application fee and submit documents of our students?

Representatives of schools may process the batch application of their students. There are two options in the payment of application fees:

  1. Applicants will pay at Metrobank individually and the school representative will submit their complete requirements to the OFAD.
  2. The school representative will collect the application fees of their students. Then, the representative pays in cash or check payable to the University of Santo Tomas at the OFAD and submits the application requirements.

Test permits can be printed in the Activity Log of the applicants after 10 working days.

Policy for Rescheduling the USTET

This policy on request for rescheduling the USTET is applicable to the following:

1. USTET applicants who failed to take the USTET on the scheduled date and time
2. USTET applicants whose application has been already processed and were issued test permits but are requesting for another USTET schedule.

Guidelines and procedures: 

1. The USTET applicant must pay a rescheduling fee of Php150.00 at any Metrobank branches.
2. The USTET applicant shall write a letter of request to reschedule him/her to another USTET schedule.
3. The letter of request, photocopy of the Metrobank payment slip, and the copy of the test permit shall be sent to the Office for Admissions on or before the following dates:

October 06, 2017 –  For October 15, 2017 USTET at UST Campus
4. For Provincial USTET, the said requirements should be submitted one week before the schedule of the Provincial USTET.
5. The new test permit will be available after one week from the submission of the request letter, photocopy of the Metrobank payment slip, and copy of the test permit.


Please be informed that the USTET schedule on October 22, 2017 at the University of Santo Tomas campus shall be moved on October 15, 2017 (Sunday) to give way for the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT). 

Please be guided accordingly.

 Attention All Middle East Applicants:

For all USTET examinees at the following international testing centers:

Kuwait, Jeddah, Riyadh, Al-Khobar, Bahrain, Oman, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Doha

Please be informed that the deadline for payment and online submission of documents will be on September 15, 2017, Friday.

The test permit will be available from September 29 to October 02, 2017 if you have uploaded the complete and correct requirements on or before September 15, 2017.

Please be informed that the deadline for payment and submission of documents will be on September 15, 2017, Friday. Documents received after this date shall be scheduled on October 15, 2017 USTET.

Documents that will be sent through courier services, please ensure that your documents will be received by our office on or before September 15, 2017, Friday. Documents received through courier services after this date shall be scheduled on October 15, 2015 USTET.
